Journey Test Report On Old Rover Saloon

I have just completed a drive of over 600 miles from Cornwall to London , down to Basingstoke and Southampton then back via Bournemouth.
All this in a 19 year old Rover 825 SLDi saloon with 180000 miles on the clock. I have averaged 48 MPG and the power increase was very noticeable. The engine ran much smoother than before and the acceleration from 60 up to 70 was significant, keeping up with modern saloons like BMW and Mercedes.
What has made the difference is the Hydrogen generator I have fitted, yes it now runs on diesel and WATER. Well, the gas that the water produces when electrolysis is applied that is, namely Hydroxide gas which is more flammable than hydrogen on its own.
Over the past couple of months the boosting use of this gas has  de-carbonized the engine and cleaned up the pistons. The result being to improve the mileage and power without pumping black smoke out of the exhaust when accelerating.
I shall be completing more tests over the next few months on mileage and power after the next service which is now due, so stay tuned in to this blog.
